To Readers:

For clarity of exposition, the viewpoint of the author on some difficult issues has not been avoided. Few readers will be in agreement on every topic. E-mail comments sent using the contact page if addressed to a specific topic will be posted on a readers o pinion page unless requested not to be. It can only be stated that the author holds few views considered sacrosanct other than that expression of views, however incomplete, remains desirable.

The presentation corresponds closely to the analysis of the Austrian  monetary economics of Murray Rothbard, especially in his short paper: The Economics of  Pure Gold Standard.

It also incorporates important aspects of the progressive-free-market  economics of Mason Gaffney in: The Mason Gaffney Reader.

This site allows for a viewing of the US monetary economy with special emphasis on the dollar and its role in the economy.

It will be seen that the dollars' preservation, not its destruction, provides the answer to its abuse by government overreach.
