James Webb writes from Roanoke Va.; has a B.S. in economics from the University of Maryland, with graduate studies in monetary economics at the American University in Washington D.C.; is author of The U.S. Dollar, an Owner’s Manual, Monetary Essentials, and Social Sovereignity. 

The presentation corresponds closely to the analysis of the Austrian  monetary economics of Murray Rothbard, especially in his short paper: The Economics of a Pure Gold Standard.

It also incorporates important aspects of the progressive-free-market  economics of Mason Gaffney in: The Mason Gaffney Reader.
